Autism Early Open at Pacific Science Center

Exploration for All: Autism Early Open at Pacific Science Center. On the third Saturday of each month, all families affected by autism spectrum disorder are invited to explore Pacific Science Center during a special free morning visit from 8-10 a.m. – before it is open to the public (entry through our North Entrance only). Low Sensory Evenings are a special time just for kids with sensory sensitivities to visit the museum. KidsQuest limits attendance and turns down the ambient noise and lights to provide an even more inviting place to explore, play, and learn. These evenings are especially appropriate for children with autism and/or Sensory Processing Disorder, but Low Sensory Evenings are open to children with any type of special need and their families. Jam Club Summer Music Camp

Music Therapy Based Summer Music Camp for students in grades 2 – 12. Our camp is led by, Board Certified Music Therapist, Elizabeth VanSant and assisted by Recreation Therapist, Elisa Lewis, with volunteer help from our Music Buddies (typical students from our full orchestra programs who are trained to work with our students with special needs).
