Everyone deserves to access live events – the magic of live theater or dance is a moving experience we should all be able to access. Dance is often overlooked as a sensory concern, but like any stage production, there are often acoustic and lighting impacts on those with sensory processing disabilities. This week we worked with Seattle’s acclaimed Pacific Northwest Ballet to review their Rep 2: “Beyond Ballet” performance so that individuals could have a sensory preview of what to expect. You will find the Sensory Guides for the rest of the shows of the PNB season on their website on opening day of each show as we will be working with them for the season! Kudos to the PNB team for creating #SensoryInclusion for this season. Here is your link to the PNB Beyond Ballet Sensory Guide (1)
